📢 ClubZap Update – “Reason for Not Going” Feature Now Live
ClubZap has launched a new “Reason for Not Going” feature as part of the RSVP system.
Please make sure your app is updated to version 7.3.0.
🔹 When a coach, player or parent selects “Not Going” for an event, they will now be prompted to give a reason.
Key benefits:
⚡️ Private notifications to coaches
⚡️ One-click reporting
⚡️ Fewer no-shows & better planning
⚡️ Less group chat spam
Why it’s useful:
✔️ Coaches get validated absences
✔️ Players/Parents have privacy when giving a reason
How to enable it (Coaches/Admins):
1️⃣ Create your event as normal
2️⃣ Go to Advanced Settings
3️⃣ Toggle “Require not going reason” ON
Reason options available:
• Sick
• Injured
• Holidays
• Other (up to 50 characters)
Viewing reasons:
➡️ Open the event
➡️ Go to the Not Going section
➡️ Reasons are also visible in attendance reports
